By creating an account or using University Application Guidance ("UAG", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use UAG.

These terms apply to all users of the platform, including students, parents, and any other visitors.

UAG is an educational platform designed to help IB Diploma Programme and Cambridge IGCSE students — primarily in Africa — plan their university applications from as early as age 14.

By submitting content to UAG — including portfolio entries, feedback, and opportunity submissions — you grant UAG a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and use that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You retain ownership of all content you submit. We do not claim ownership of your personal data, academic records, or portfolio materials.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. UAG does not verify the accuracy of grades, achievements, or other user-submitted content.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on UAG created by us — including the platform design, text, guides, career data, resource content, and software — is owned by University Application Guidance and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any UAG content without our prior written permission.

8. Third Party Links and Resources

UAG contains links to external websites, scholarship databases, test preparation platforms, and other third-party resources. These are provided for your convenience and information only.

We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party website. Accessing external links is at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

UAG is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

University and admissions requirements change regularly. Always verify information directly with universities, official admissions bodies, and scholarship providers before making decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UAG and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.

UAG is a guidance tool. All final decisions regarding subject selection, university applications, career direction, and financial planning remain your responsibility.

11. Account Termination

You may deactivate your account at any time through Settings. Your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without notice, at our sole discretion.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of UAG after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
